The house on the Bocche
The "casa sulle bocche" is a charming house transformed into a warm and welcoming bed and breakfast. The house has been recently restored in its interiors and furniture.
The rooms destined to guests face the wide roof terrace, which offers a stunning view on the strait between Corsica and Sardinia known as "Bocche di Bonifacio". Only a few meters on foot is also the very famous beach of "Rena Bianca", awarded since 1987, with the blue flag for its crystal-clear waters. From the "House" the breathtaking view stretches from the seaside to the granite cliffs and on to the small islands of Municca and Municchedda, and those of the near archipelago of "La Maddalena", defining a scenery of a rare unspoiled natural beauty.
The nearby hill is a green space, stolen to urbanization, which offers an alternation of colours, blending the grey of the granite stone and the intense green of the Mediterranean vegetation. Everyday the sun goes down just in front of the house terrace offering the perfect spectacle of a lovely sunset. At night the blinking light of lighthouses illuminate the waters of the strait in a fascinating game of lights.
The town historical centre is just a few minutes walk and even though the house is located away from the hustle and bustle of the modern part of town, the main facilities are not very far.
